How much deadly this tick can be.
I found this type similar tick 99% same size same colour on a street dog neck single piece. That dog died in 1month after I noticed this tick on his neck. Cause of death is unknown. Can this tick be the reason of his death.

There can be various reasons why that street dog died. But yes ticks causes severe tick fever so if the dog was suffering from it.. They can die from that.

It's difficult to say if ticks were the cause of death without knowing a proper history but Yes ticks can be deadly as they can cause tick fever which can be fatal if not treated timely. As a veterinarian I always emphasize that even a single tick can be harmful for pets

Ticks can be deadly in most cases, either directly or indirectly. Directly, they can cause severe anemia in pets if they are numerous in the animal. Indirectly, they can spread a lot of deadly blood protozoal infection in the dogs which will cause death if they are not treated in right time.
