How long does venlor stay in body?
I took one dose of venlor xr 37.5 mg. I felt very uneasy and in a dream like state. So i stopped taking the medication and was prescribed another.
Does the medication stay in body for long and has some serious side effects even after one dose?

Hi,
Don't worry, a few medication in psychiatry can cause anxiety symptoms when started but they are not serious and disappear in 4-5 days.
so consult your psychiatrist for possible change in medication.

The half life of venlafaxine is 4 hours and that of its metabolite is 10 hours . so it won't stay long in your body. There no major side effects of this drugs
