How long can i take duphaston
Hello dr please guide me it's gona be 3 years of my marriage in January according to Dr's i have no issue i just need to loose weight which is 90 i haven't conceived till now. My periods are very irregular after marriage till now i just get periods by medicine my eggs are really weak. Now i have started duphaston from almost 3 months twice a day for 5 days dr recommend me this in first month 2nd month i took by myself can i take that again if i am not getting periods on time.

Its better not to self medicate in this case. If you are seriously planning to concieve, you need to maintain your diet and exercise to lose weight. Maximum times, periods will regularize with weight loss itself unless there is some underlying pathology or hormonal imbalance.

O dear you need not suffer like this Start Tablet Reeshape 60 mg at bedtime daily every night for three months.
Next Steps
You can take Tablet Duphaston 10 mg twice a day for 5 days. You will get your periods after you stop taking the medication after 7-10 days . From day 2 of next periods start Tablet Dronis -30 at bedtime once every night for three weeks and then give a gap of 7 days and repeat for three months. Dronis will help you to loose weight and regularise periods.
Health Tips
On day two of periods do the following tests 1. Serum LH and FSH 2. Serum TSH 3. Serum Prolactin 4. Husband semen analysis 5. Ultrasound pelvis done for uterus tubes and ovaries and endometrial thickness and antral follicle count Do HSG on day 6-9 of cycle. After 3 months of loosing weight like this with diet and medication you can plan for pregnancy. Continue Fertisure F for female partner and Tablet Fertisper for Male partner once at bedtime once every night for three months
