How conclusive is a 3 ½ week HIV test?
Recently got tested for HIV with a test that searched for antibodies. It's only been 3 and a half weeks since possible exposure. Test came out as non reactive. How conclusive is this result since I've gotten tested only after 3 and a half weeks? Is this in any way an indicator that I do not have HIV?

Hi, HIV duo test is conclusive after 4 weeks , so please repeat test after 4 weeks of exposure and also repeat it once after 60 days. This 2test will give you conclusive results. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further doubts.

HIV antibodies test is to be done at 90 days giving a 3 month window period for antibodies to develop. You have repeat the test at 6 months. Only if both are negative, it is conclusive.
