Dear practo user it depends solely upon your Homoeo physician  who is presently treating your son...... so he only can suggest you best answer for your case (especialy) and each Physician vary much in their opinions......
Depending upon the case situation and some times in high grade fever like during some treatmemt i give either Homoeo medicines or CALPOL SYRUP (PARACETAMOL) DOSAGE ACCORDING to age of the child........... for time being...... but later once temp recovers i give exclusove Homoeo medicines only.....

All the best

Every Homoeopath has different opinion for that query. It would be better if you ask Homoeopath from whom you are taking medicine.
As per my opinion, there are many homeopathic medicines which can help in high degree fever. You can keep it with you as SOS. Only concern is that high fever should not be continued for long time as it may result in convulsion/epilepsy in children. In such case where high fever (>101°F for children) continues for more than half an hour, you can use Peracetamol to prevent epileptic fits.
You can also try the wet-sock treatment, a popular folk remedy for fever.
