The symptom complex that iodum addresses is like hyper thyroid. U don't think it will help hypothyroid.
Hypothyroid can be helped by thyroidinum, or any of the homeopathic deep acting polychrests.

We need to match symptoms before giving any medicine..there is no specific medicine for hypothyroidism..so plz come up with symptoms so that single medicine can be prescribed.. I would not suggest u to take specific medicine

I can understand your concern.
Rather than wasting time on homeo meds which have been proved time and again not to work. I would suggest you consult a endocrinologist and start allopathy treatment.
Delayed treatment can cause a lot of complications.
