Hole in heart
Hello,
My nephew is 9 months old. He has hole in his heart. Also, his body is not growing and his head is bigger than body. He has some respiratory problems also. He can't take breathe properly. He is sick every other day. He has fever, wet cough, cold . Doctors has given medicines - arbidit, tonoferon, calcimax. But, no result. Plz tell, he is normal or he has some problem or any disease or syndrome. Will he grow or not?

Hi, according to details provided by you it shows that child is having heart disease. Kids with heart disease can have recurrent respiratory tract infections (cough, cold, distress and fever) and sometimes they fail to grow if there is advanced stage heart disease. For childs heart problem you need to consult pediatric cardiologist.
