Hoarseness of cry can be because of too frequent and constant cry. In that case it will settle down in 2-3 days. Persistent hoarseness can be because of vocal cord nodule, papilloma or other pathologies related to vocal cord. If it is persisting for more than 3 days it’s better to see pediatrician. He may refer you to ENT specialist if required
