HIV VIA DRIED BLOOD ON COTTON
I have gone to a famous lab to test my hiv status i saw the cotton they have used on me to disinfect my veins have a tiny mark on blood on that and then after taking blood they applied the same cotton on that area can i contract hiv in this senario Pls help

I think the cotton was stained with blood clot/blood in fluid state, still they didn't use the swab for any IV Injection or Infusion. So even if the blood over cotton was HIV +VE (about which no proof is here) there are no chance of you getting HIV infection.

It is unlikely that they had used a previously used cotton swab on you again. The only way you can contract HIV is from the fluids of another HIV positive individual. Kindly visit your nearest NACO counseling centre to understand in detail about HIV transmission.
