Hi there... I can understand your concern. Yes hiv virus can be transmitted through oral sex. It can be transmitted from one person to another person, when mucosal surface comes in contact with any body fluids like blood, vaginal secretions, semen, saliva(albeit minimal). Using barrier methods like condoms does prevent the risk of transmission. But be careful about condom breakage.
