A person with bleeding gums while chewing tobacco handed me a 10 rupees note with some blood on it.
I placed the note on a cash counter.
I then washed my hands with Savlon handwash.
About 5–6 minutes later, I touched the cash counter and then my house mug (possibly dry or slightly wet).
About 5–6 minutes after that, I touched the mug again.
About 1 minute later, I touched my mucous membrane (mouth/eye/nose).
The total time from the initial note contact to mucous membrane touch was about 14–15 minutes.
