The impact has caused hematoma over the forehead.Apply ice pack locally and hirodiid gel. However if the child is irritable, vomiting or drowsy take the child to ER in the hospital in your area.

It looks like your child has developed a soft tissue swelling (hematoma) on the forehead due to the impact. This is quite common in children and usually not serious unless accompanied by other symptoms. Apply ice pack wrapped in a cloth on the bulge for 10–15 minutes every 2–3 hours for the first 24 hours. This helps reduce the swelling and pain.
Next Steps
Please watch for warning signs that may require urgent medical attention: • Vomiting (especially repeated) • Drowsiness or unconsciousness • Confusion or irritability • Unequal pupils or blurred vision • Seizures • Persistent crying or refusal to eat

A CT scan is needed at most if any of the following symptoms are there — vomiting, alteration of consciousness, bleeding from anywhere in body etc. Otherwise, it seems benign. Please consult if you have any doubts.
