Himalayan pink salt
Is Himalayan pink salt suitable for hypothyroid patients? I read that this does not contain enough iodine. Please advise what salt is best to use for hypothyroid.

Hello practo user No, it does not have sufficient iodine. And not recommended for hypothyroid patients. Better, use fortified iodine salt. Eg. Tata salt

Hi Himalayan pink salt have the minerals which is not present in the regular salt. So you can do one thing just try to use a mix of both salt, sometimes use normal salt and sometimes you use pink salt so that you can get benefit of both the salt.
