High TSH(4.73) in 10 weeks
Hello ... my wife is 10weeks pregnant...and today we did her thyroid testing... Her T4 level is with in the range and it is 1.05 but her TSH level is high and it is 4.73... almost two months are already gone with this high TSH...will  this high TSH for 2 months (till now) impact the baby's IQ level? I read online and it says it impact IQ RATE of the baby...

Hello .. Thanks for writing on Practo... Each trimester Sr Tsh range is different ..Your wife is in first trimester ..So she need Sr Tsh level upto 2.5 .. .You start with Tb Thyroxin 50 MCG .Daily one before food.. Check Thyroid function test after 1 month..

Tablet Thyroxin 50 MCG before  food at morning consult with your gynaecologist and general physician as early as possible
