High triglycerides -365
Hello Sir, Had my overall tests done recently. Despite of improved diet and mild exercise my triglycerides seem to be shooting up. Last year it was 286, this year it increased to 365. I take fish lever oil and flax seeds regularly as well. What is your suggestion? Thanks,

Hello.. Sir first thing is I want to know your body weight and definitely would suggest you to take measurements for reducing it...And then you also need to start exercising as the exercises will help in reducing the cholesterol..And I also need to know about the medications...Thank you

Hi. Please check for diabetes and thyroid disorders. Meet a dietician and go for better exercises if no contradiction. If after 3 months of same the triglycerides are above 300 then medication is indeed in form of fibrates. However if you have diabetes then the situation becomes different. Then you need to look at ldl too.
