High TLC Counts. Be done. ? please help.

My mother who is 75 years old, is diagnosed with typhoid again after a year, is on bed since last year. Few days back, she did not wake up from her sleep. Doctor injected her some medicines and few tests were performed. Her TLC Counts was 21000 which should be between 5000-9000. Doctor referred us to take her to the hospital as she was unconscious from 5 days because high fever got onto her brain. Now in hospital, she is still unconscious and the TLC counts have raised to 25000. Doctors are providing her with vitamins and minerals through pipe. But now doctors have given up hopes and are saying that nothing is left to do and in her body. Please suggest something which could make her gain conscious again and is that true that when TLC Counts are so high, nothing can be done.? Please help.
