I would advise an oral glucose tolerance test. Based  on the results, furthur management can be decided. This test should be done in the laboratory.  Glucometer readings may differ from the actual blood sugar levels. Sugar levels tend to be higher in some females after 7 months of pregnancy in a condition called as gestational diabetes mellitus.
