High Risk Gallstone Surgery
My 65 year old mother has multiple gallstones and Severe Sleep Apnea.. All doctors say medicine won't work and surgery is high risk so can't do it as it is life threatening.. then what should I do? Where do I go? My mother wants to live.. isn't there a solution?? Please help 🙏

If surgery is must then she needs a hospital with adequate post op care following surgery.

U need to take her to a higher center which is equipped to deal with such patients. Be prepared that post operatively her recovery may be slow n would need ventillator n ICU support. Discuss at length n then decide what patient and the family wants

Gallstones are frequently seen in general population. Surgery is required only if it is symptomatic. If the patient does not have symptoms of gall stone disease, surgery might not be required
