Creatinine level in blood is a balance between production from muscles and removals from kidneys. Creatinine is one of the hundreds of waste products which kidney excretes. Creatinine is elevated when your kidneys are working less. There should not be and cannot a medicine with purpose of decreasing creatinine as it won't effect other wastes products. Purpose should be to find the cause and try to correct the cause so that kidneys can function better which will decrease all the waste product level in the blood including creatinine. Other way to decrease creatinine is to loose all your muscles, from where ot is coming but it also won't decrease other waste products. People mostly stop eating protein to decrease creatinine. Indians are already eating less protein and that also from plant sources which should not be stopped. Meet a Nephrologist to know why your creatinine is increased so further management can be done
