High grade fever with loose motions.
My nephew is 10 months suffering from high grade fever 101-103 from last two days. His fever reached 104 as well once. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and paracetamol. Today his tests were done for CBC, CRP, URINE and STOOL. There is an infection in stool. Doctor asked to continue medication or admit him to the hospital for immediate relief. Kindly suggest the course of action since the baby is 10months. Should we admit him or continue the medications. His CBC and stool reports are attached for your reference.CRP is 3.94. Urine report is normal. Your help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

The decision to admit is made by symptoms and check up by your pediatrician. So please follow his advice. The reports are not showing major problems. Reports are less important than doctors opinion. Please take second opinion if you feel from another senior pediatrician
