  3. High Fever, high wbc. Be the reason?

High Fever, high wbc
My friend has very high fever... n back pain...he is feeling very cold.... got his blood tested... result was high wbc count around 13000... n high neutrophils...What could be the reason??

Hi Raised total count is suggestive of infective etiology .... We should find foci of infection and treat accordingly ..... Fever represents ongoing active infection in body... Kindly consult physician to look for cause and treat accordingly....
