High ESR and low Haemoglobin
Sir, We have done full body check up of my wife. Her haemoglobin level comes to 11.9 , Esr is 113 and CRP is in normal range. What could be the reason. Any further tests needs to be done.

Esr is a nonspecific test and signifies an underlying source of  inflammarion.

ESR has very negligible role as a test , only importance it holds is that , it is used to monitor the outcome of  antibiotic therapy alongwith determination of presence of infection..
