Can I know the symtomps you are having ? ESR is not definitive source of infection unless untill it's in range of 80-100 It's usually raises in acute infection to some level.. like 20-30-40 .. At your levels 30-40 it's not much worrysome Once the symtomps resolved it would gradually subsided.

ESR is usually Non Specific and may rise in certain Inflammatory Processes, or after any infection. Only Raised Levels of ESR does not mean anything. Kindly consult a Doctor, giving your thorough history, get some tests repeated. U are most welcome to consult me.

After 30 days for infection, it is highly unlikely that you have an active infection. ESR is a very non specific and poor marker, it can be elevated due a number of things Unless you have any symptoms, don't worry yourself. In recovery phase, a few parameters could be deranged which will return to normal with time. If no symptoms, don't worry.
