My dad just got his test reports..
He is having
Serum triglycerides 207.7mg/DL
Serum cholesterol 204.5 mg/DL
Hdl cholesterol 37.9 mg/DL
Serum Vldl cholesterol 41.54 mg/DL
Serum LDL cholesterol 125.06 mg/dl
Cholesterol / Hdl cholesterol ratio 5.40
LDL cholesterol / hdl cholesterol 3.30
Plasma glucose fasting 130.2mg/DL
Post meals plasma glucose (2 hours fasting) 121.2 mg/DL..
urine sugar present
Is he having diabetes??or any other issues??
Whom should we consult?? And what should we do ahead?? Kindly advise

Mild cholesterol derangement, fasting sugar is high.
Get HBA1C test done, and repeat BLOOD SUGAR fasting and pp with strict instructions, urine sugar also points towards diabetes.
