High bp issue
Hi 3-4 weeks back I suffered from high bp of 220/120 and nosebleed and got admitted and when the tests were done there was a discrepancy in my left kidney with a PUJ DTPA showed as follows : CT abdomen suggestive of grade IV hydronephrosis in left kidney with abrupt narrowing in left PUJ. ? PUJ obstruction Eco cardio showed following : Concentric Left Ventricular Hypertrophy Rgu mcu was normal And other reports were normal I had no symptoms of headache before just a nosebleed which lead to checking of bp first time Does this suggest I have high bp forever now My parents have high bp history Also I have a dj stent placed in my left kidney bit with medicines it is going below 135/90 The hospital I am referring to is suggesting for a pyloplasty in left kidney for this They are still not sure high bp is because of obstruction or not Is this correct diagnosis? Surgery is needed I know but what could be the reason for high bp is still an issue for me

It could be because of compromised renal function or other underlying cause. U need to track your BP , continue  your medicine as advised. Chances of secondary hypertension ( underlying cause ) is high in my opinion.
