High BP at the of 20
Hello,Sir/mam Iam a First year Medical Student.I measured my Bp Few days back it 139/82 in digital apparatus, after that I checked my bp every consecutive days most of the readings were 135-145 and 80-90 I was checked by a General Physician ,Bp was 132/80 And was given 2D echo,Ecg along with Thyroid and Diabetes tests ...all were Normal I was advised not to start medicine Now and to monitor Bp regularly along with Lifestyle Modifications I have a history of High bp from my Mother and Father's side It would be better from Cardiologist sir/mam to hear upon this matter should I start my medicine or should I go for more tests ? Thank you

Start a healthy lifestyle, exercise daily, limit salt intake and eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Avoid smoking. I think these will take care of your BP and future CVD risk.
