High Bp and stress
When I measure my BP at home it is 120-125/80-85. But when I go to doctor it always shows 130-140/90. why? it is due to fear or stress? I become very nervous when doctor measures my BP. IS IT A SIGN OF HYPERTENSION? PLZ REPLY... THANKS

Hi Do Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring as even 130/80 is now considered as borderline hypertension. The rise at doctor's office may be white coat effect but it doesn't mean that one cannot be having baseline hypertension at all.
