Can i take insulin Human Mixtard 30/70 daily 15 units as per doctor advice, since my HBA1 is 12.4 today. Can i get admitted in hospital or can take insulin straight away.

You don't need to get admitted to the hospital and you an very much control your sugar levels at home. There is no fixed dose of insulin which is appropriate for you to start with. Start at low dose and keep increasing the dose based on home sugar readings.
