High bilirubin but ultrasound normal
Hello, i had Typhoid 2 month back after all test and ultrasound all are normal and i back to my normal diet. After two months of Typhoid finish i heavy drink alcohol only for two days. But this time my hangover not like usual so i go to hospital and check my lft all the parameters are normal but bilirubin level is High Bilirubin Total 2.2 Bilirubin Direct 0.9 Bilirubin Indirect 1.3 And doc as to check ultrasound Ultrasound shows all normal in size no abnormalities found. Now my doc advised me to take ursodeoxycholic acid tablet and anti reflex tablet and say after 15 days we can repeat lft. I am worrying about this. Pls give me some advice

First of all, thank you for your elaborated & sequenced history and so according to your history you had an enteric infection recently which might have affected your liver to some extent. You need to do a complete liver profile test including liver enzymes and coagulation profile. Do consult to rule out other possible causes of jaundice.
Next Steps
repeat LFT, amylase lipase, urea, creatinine.
Health Tips
if possible, limit your intake of alcohol. avoid any Hepatotoxic drugs you have been suggested. avoid alternative medications.

According to your sign and symptom you are suffering from some infection like high bilirubin . take Syp- Liv 52 5 ml 2 time per day after food for 1 month . and follow good life style and take plenty of fluid and take less spicy and fatty food.
