High and irregular Heart beats
We have visited a senior doctor and he prescribed Rozavel 10 and Orcibest as he was having a very low pulse beat around 50 sometimes. also heart beat was irregular with some missing pulse. Max Pause 1.91 ( as per halter monitoring) Tonight after taking medicine  first he started beat very fast 130 - 150 and irregular also. Is it normal or about to worry something? and what should he do in such senario? what is the risk level and possibilities? Advise, if pacemaker is needed for him?

It is normal heart rate variations between 50 to 120.. What we need to see is if it's constantly below 50 or not.. See...to diagnose it you need to get an ECG done while you are having the rhythm problem or you can get holter monitoring for 24 hours during which if you have this episode it will get registered and documented. Also you need to get a complete lipid profile done as well as a echocardiogram and blood sugar and thyroid levels to look for risk factors. Once you have done that Get back to me with the reports for a detailed consultation.   Meanwhile  Watch these simple explanatory videos for underlying the problem.
