Hidden depression
Problem last 16 yrs.medicine taking from last 12 yrs.earlier zosert and pari cr and now d ventin and colapam.mri normal.married five yrs ago.no child till now.just adopted a girl.do all work normally.but felt i lost my identity somewhere.family says all ok.but i feel that from 16 yrs i m in some another stage.help...

Hi it appears from your history that you are suffering from dysthymia. It is characterised by chronic depression of mood not at much severity to fulfil diagnosis of depression. In this person have days or weeks of well being but most of the time feel tired and depressed. They need effort in everything and won't be able to enjoy anything. Suffering person brood and complain, sleep badly and feel inadequate still they are able to cope with basic demands of life. they may have superimpose episode of other psychiatric disorder. So keep in touch with your psychiatrist and do accordingly. You can also include yoga in your day to day life like Pranayam. Best of luck.
