Herniated disc
I was having back problem for last 2 year, last week I had a serious problem and felt like something is breaking of poking my lower back, I was not able to move, walk, sit, properly, I did MRI and it revealed that one of disk has leakage of jelly type material, now my question is do I need to go for surgery or not, currently I am admitedto a hospital where doctor asked me to take rest and some weight is tied to my leg ad I am getting back to water bag massage in back, but pain come back in sometime, Should I go for surgery as one doctor suggested that there is risk of paralysis in future Please help

Since u have severe pain from one month only, u can go for conservative treatment. MRI showing disc is not an indication for surgery. MRI only supports your diagnosis. Moreover, clinical assessment is very important. Most of the disc with first episode resolve with time.
