Best option is surgery only..Hernia may grow in size if you keep waiting and bother you more.Dont worry get it treated surgically u will be fine very soon..Visit a surgeon for examination.
I wouldn’t say best or better because surgery is your only option. Hernia is basically a weakness in your fascia/muscle through which your internal organs may come out under the skin. This is like a hole in the wall that needs another brick or cement as a patch work. Modern hernia surgery is practically painless and the recovery almost instantaneous.
Don’t fall for non surgical options and waste your precious time and money.
