My inlaws having sever pain in lower abdomen due to hernia. Please suggest which doctor need to consult.

Surgery is the best choice for hernia...there is something called herniorrhaphy with hernioplasty..in which the surgeon makes an incision in your groin and pushes the protruding contents back into your abdomen and the weak area often is reinforced and supported with a synthetic mesh...Consult nearest surgeon they will do the needful.

Hello... hernia is surgical problem, you need to get it operated ... it usually starts as mild swelling ,you might have neglected it.... take him to general surgeon ,doctor will do preoperative evaluation and if everything is normal he will take him for surgery.... his blood pressure and glucose levels should be under control...
