Note for Urologist Testicular pain
When I was in 6th std, both my testicles twisted/swollen after an accident. A local doctor treated it with traditional methods and swelling went down. Since last year, I get intermittent pain in my right lower abdomen and right testicle. The right testicle feels angled/horizontal compared to the left, and one hangs lower and slightly turned. Pain comes and goes, sometimes dull, sometimes sharp. I am worried about risk of torsion or hernia. Please check with scrotal ultrasound with Doppler and advise if I need preventive orchiopexy surgery or further treatment.

You have described a history and symptoms quite suggestive of intermittent testicular torsion, especially since the right testis feels more horizontal and you have recurrent episodic pain. This indicates that the testicle might be twisting and untwisting on its own — a condition that can suddenly progress to complete torsion, risking permanent testicular damage. A scrotal ultrasound with Doppler is essential to assess blood flow and confirm the diagnosis. If intermittent torsion is confirmed or strongly suspected, a bilateral orchiopexy surgery (fixation of both testes) is recommended to prevent future torsion and save testicular function. Meanwhile, avoid vigorous activities or sudden movements that can trigger pain episodes. For personalized guidance after reviewing your scan and to discuss preventive surgery options, you can reach me directly on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one double three two for detailed consultation and next steps.
