I consulted a doctor due to experiencing low back pain and pain in the lower abdomen (left side). The doctor recommended an ultrasound (USG). I have attached the report. Please see the report. What is hepatomegaly? Is the report normal?

Hepatomegaly is only a clinical sign. It would be difficult to point to a cause without history, examination and detailed evaluation for cause. Pertinent questions could include - recent history of fever, recent history of alcohol intake, history of jaundice, etc. Needs detailed evaluation to identify the cause. Ultrasound report would have been more convincing if liver span would have been mentioned.
