Hepatology related Q
I have vitamin A toxicity without any retinol supplements or topical ointment use. 853 ng/dl I have symptoms like dry skin, hair loss, chapped lips, insomnia, little bit of blurred vision etc. I have come across these treatments on the internet: Treatment with intravenous fluids and diuretics Additional therapy, including pamidronate, calcitonin, corticosteroids, or mithramycin How to go about the treatment options above? What treatment options do you propose? Is apheresis an option for this, i know this is going to cost a fortune, but still? Any piece of advice would be greatly appreciated. And what is the medicine in the treatment about that theu are talking about as iv fluid? Thank you.
