Heme iron vs Non-Heme iron in iron test?
What is the test that will show levels of Heme iron and Non-Heme iron separately? The iron serum test shows a value. Is it Heme iron or Non-Heme iron level? I am a vegetarian who does not eat non veg at all. How do I find heme iron level that is coming from non veg source? The iron profile blood test does not seem to show it.
