Nexito Plus is usually prescribed by Psychiatrists for anxiety-related issues. It works in calming down the nerve cells with which which the patients' anxiety-producing hyperactivity comes down. This much is a broad picture of the medicine. However, if the doctor is changing your medicines after reviewing your condition, please grant the professional knowledge, skill, expertise, experience etc. of her / him. The line of treatment in any health issue gets disturbed when the patient, with the limited understanding of the whole matter, starts her / his own medical reviews. Hope you will not do that and follow the treatment as decided by your doctor. It may be proper to go in for another medical opinion (from a psychiatrist in your case) only if you find no improvement or if there is deterioration in the condition even after a reasonable period of time in treatment. I feel the best as of now for you is to ask your doctor and clarify your doubts.

Hi... Nexito Plus is a combination of two medicines:
1. Clonazepam — is a benzodiazepine which increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
2. Escitalopram — which has anxiety-lowering and mood-enhancing effects is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.
It takes some time to identify which combination of medicines are more effective and with less side effects for an individual. As different people respond to different combination of medicines differently.
If you're not happy with your professional (Psychiatrist/Psychologist), please change the professional. But do not drop the treatment.
