Hellp! Excruciating pain
While closing the dry rack, it felt on my finger and my finger turned purplish. Now it's when I press my finger, It feels like the blood is jam there and it feels tight. Also the tip of the finger nail on my thumb. It's it's like feeling like burning. Please tell me what to do what to apply I have added very cold water. Please see the picture and guide me what medicines to take or what medicines to apply. Currently I am at the UK, so if you could please prescribe some general over-the-counter medicines, it would be really helpful to get it from the pharmacy. Thank you very much.

Hello sir. Give rest as of now to the finger. Ice pack / dip in cold water 2-3 times a day. Etoricoxib if available please take it for 5 days, 60 mg twice daily. Blood clot will slowly come down. No need to worry. If this medication is not available, you can opt for any over the counter pain killers. Like diclofenac/ aceclofenac. If nothing is available then take paracetamol 650 mg thrice daily.
Next Steps
Wait for few days to subside
Health Tips
If any restriction in movement or if swelling increases then consult immediately
