Even if it is a minor fracture, it definitely has to be treated since its your foot which takes entire weight of the body. If it is a new injury and swelling is seen, do ice application, rest the foot on a pillow and perform foot up and down movements. Consult an orthopaedic and follow it up from there. Also make sure your vitamin D level is optimum.
