My son who is 10 month older is suffering from heavy cold and cough since more than 5 days.
Doctor prescribed syrup delcon and syrup mucosal befor 2 days. But no any result found hence today doctor prescribed syrup bactoclav and syrup prednisolone sodium phosphate along with salbair neb 0.31 mg with nebuliser.
Please suggest is any further treatment need. When my child will recover.please suggest.

Cold cough will be common ,don't be in panic. Relax. You can give saline nasal drop SOS. Add vit cecon drops. If you have good bath room, put on hot water, open tap so that areal hot water with steam is produced. Carry your child on shoulder and let him breath .This is only way to give steam safely. Is baby active and playfull ? If yes. Treating doctor was already started antibiotic wait for 1 more day.
It takes 2 days minimum after antibiotic start to respond.
