Heavy Cough and cold during pregnancy

Hello, my sister in law is 3 months pregnant and she is suffering from dry cough and cold. Please advise which medicines could be taken. She is already consuming thyroid medicine and iron tablets for low blood count.

Any anticold medicine that doesn't contain caffeine And if she has sputum in her cough then she should take cough syrup containing ambroxol guaifenesin If couugh is dry then she should take dextromethorphan containing syrup
