Heavy bleeding postpartum

Asked for Female, 36 Years

4 months back delivered baby thru normal delivery and give mixed feed. I got periods 2 months post delivery which was neither light nor heavy and lasted for 3 days. But now (4mnths) I started spotting a week ago and am bleeding heavy for last 36 hrs. I soaked a XL pad every 1 hr at start and evry 2hrs now. Help pls.

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are bleeding so much. This is not normal. You need to go. to your hospital soon so your doctor can examine you. They will do an ultrasound scan to see what's happening inside the uterus. You may need blood tests as well. Don't eat anything till you have been examined and take a change of clothes in case you need admission all the very best
