I am currently having pulse rate of 78 beats /min...would like to know how to minimise pulse rate...Also let me know significance of heart rate and whether it has to be low or high.
Also some measures to control and keep within limits...and regarding food intake as well to control it.

It is normal beating of heart and it is considered as normal. Usually 72-100 bpm is normal. To maintain your heart beat 20 mins of physical activity will help you very much.
