Sir
I have a 4-year-old child. I’m currently giving her Pediasure once a day and Zincovit syrup once a day in a limited dose to support her growth and nutrition.
She is losing weight despite eating healthy foods....
1. Is it safe to continue giving both daily?
2. Is there any risk of vitamin or mineral overdose?
3. Should I reduce or stop any of them?
Please advise what is best for her health

Yes giving for more than 3 months can cause overdose. So you can stop it if you have given it for more than 3 months. And get a proper physical examination done to check if the child is actually underweight or optimal for the given age and weight. That can be done only by weight and height of the child is known. And do not worry if the child weight and height is optimal for the given age.
