For the past 4 months I have been experiencing a strange sensation in the lower limbs (legs and feet) raising doubts as to whether it is a vascular or neural problem. Nerve conduction test shows it is not due to the latter. When I lay down in the bed in the night the problem manifests and the limbs and the feet experience some sort of squeezing sensation ( no numbness of course) particularly feet . But once I get up and start walking , the problem is almost gone. Similarly during my night walk the waist region experiences a sensation similar to debilitating feeling making it an unpleasant exercise . My query is whom to consult, a general physician , vascular expert or a neuro. I am of late reaching pre diabetic stage . I am having BP for past 16 years but it is under control with Stamlo 5mg . Hypothyroidism is being controlled with Thyronorm 75mcg tablets . What should I do to diagnose my present problem?
