Headache, light headed with cerazette
Hi doctor, I have 11month old baby and i am breastfeeding. I have pcos, My gynecologist suggested to take Cerazette for 3months as my period bleeding didn't stop. I have taken Cerazette for 3months and stopped. It's already one and half month that i stopped taking Cerazette but from yesterday I am getting some headache, light headedness. I was getting headache when I was taking Cerazette. Is it side effect of discontinuing Cerazette?

OC pills can precipitate headache and migraine . But effect lasts as long as u r on pills or exposed to harmones .so probably stopping cerazette may not be the reason for headache . probably it's lack of sleep due to breastfeeding or stress or could be due to other medical reasons .so consult a doctor

Since it has been long since you stopped. Don't worry also oc pills can aggravate the headaches. So if you have recurrence understand tht oc  pills aren't for you
