Head Injury Due to Accident
Dear Sir, 14 days ago Due to an Accident i have got 3 Stitches in my head.Doctor prescribed me Clavam 625 Medicine and i have taken this for the last 13 days. My stitches now has been cut.I am using betadin ointment to the affected area.Due to my wound not fully recovered and still there is pain, Should i continue to use the Clavam 625 medicine until the wound fully recover? Please suggest. Attaching the image of the affected area.

Hello You should stop taking antibiotics now—13 days is more than what was needed . It’s important to take a proper head bath and gently clean the area. The crusting needs to be softened and gently removed while washing.

Stop antibiotics.. Itching is normal. Take shower and dry the area..the crushing will fall off spontaneously.
