there is range for head circumference at a particular age. you have to meet the doctor to see if it is within normal limits or not. if you feel that it is more or less it is advisable to consult the doctor because only head circumference is not a criteria for any pathology. you have to rule out any genetic cause also that is if the parents had less head circumference at the age of 2 to 3 years then the child also will have less heads circumference at this age. last thing if the development of the child is proper do not worry about the head circumference
